I was contacted by this number, they knew my name and that I was with a certain bank. I asked how they knew and she replied that it was from a database relating to marketing. So someone is selling our private information to various cold call centers. She wanted me to click on a link and download an app called SOS. This is how they get into your phone and then you are in big trouble because we use our phones for everything today. They rob you by pretending to protect you.....that's quite quite evil. All their information has been forwarded to the authorities, carte blanche, daily maveric and hello peter. Lets make this company famous. They send you a sms with a link do download the app. Once you download the app they will ask permissions on your device and then they are in to your social media, private folders and personal finances.

Yes they asked me to confirm my name and identity number. They dropped the phone immediately after, never had a chance to even ask who's RnR.. I'm a bit worried

Yes, it was a woman who asked me to confirm my date of birth and she hang up just after I confirmed. I'm worried as the festive season approaches, scammers are sleepless trying to find better techniques to defraud us.
