This number has called me several times in the past month stating I had won a "Senior Publishment Clearing House". His Name was "Sam Sherman". He has a very strong accent stating I had won a Mercedes Benz" and $4,550,000.00. It was a different sounding voice 4 weeks ago. The number I was to call then is different than it is now. He just called me back stating that if I really wanted this check I needed to send him a check for $500.00 immediately so he can start processing the papers and to handle any tax consequences. I told him to just send me the money and keep the car. Also, I would let my tax man handle the IRS. He said the check will sit there in his desk untill I change my mind! I wonder how many seniors have fallen for this? He does sound very convincing until I write it out like this I realize "What a scam this is"!!!!!!
