Claimed to be from my electric company about a charge on my bill. Caller ID showed a local exchange with a name (not this number). Woman asked for call back at this number which is not my electric provider. Also, incoming message was started during my outgoing so only a partial message was left - definite sign it was a bot.

Call showed on caller ID as a local number. I could not find a local business with that number. Partial message was left that sounded like a real woman. Provided this 888 number and a "call back ticket number". I did not call back. Sounds bogus to me.

They called and left a voice message. The voice sounded real for the most part but I do not think it was due to some numbers she spoke did not sound right. She said she was trying to contact me about the supply charges on my electric bill. She did not mention my name or the name of my electric supplier or my actual electric delivery company. She said her name was Sandra Turner. She gave me a phone number 888-549-0330 to call her back and I was to use the ID number that she also left on the voice mail.

Just received a call from this number, which showed on caller ID as a local number. Left a voice mail asking me to call the 888#, and gave a "record ID number" for me to refer to when I return the call. Looks bogus based on the comments here.

Same here, in Harrisburg, PA. I would normally ignore this, but it didn't SOUND like a bot. Sounded like an actual person. I deleted the message, and can't remember if my name was used in the voicemail. It's helpful to know that it couldn't possibly be my local electric company, since OP is in MA.
