Got a call saying I had a grant from 888-201-6975. The voice was an American woman. She said they’d call me back later. She wanted to know my financial account card number. Obvious scam. I got a call from the same number, and this time, it was an Indian man speaking. Look up “Glitterbomb trap catches spam caller” by Mark Rober on youtube — these scammers have entire centers in India and the video is of some people helping the authorities to trace and catch some of them. Any time you get a call from some random number you don’t know, be wary — unfortunately especially if it’s some random Indian-sounding man and you aren’t already expecting a call from someone of that description. Any time money is mentioned when they’re supposedly “helping you” or “giving you” something, be wary. Hang up rather than engaging. Scammers like this have cheated many people out of their life savings.

This is a SCAM! Received a call from ASCENDRG Chicago IL 3122487707. I asked if this was a scam. They said no. I asked for there website: sterlingloans.com and phone#: 8882016975 EXT 115 to get the financial manager. All for a loan up to $5,000.
