When I get calls from this number: 844-731-0546 it goes to voice mail and a message is left saying this is urgent and that I am obligated to reply and I'm given a case number. This is apparently a debt collector and when I told them I was not the person they were looking for, they said my number would be removed. Unfortunately, that was not the case and I get as many as five calls (or more) each week (got three just this morning). They won't give you their company name or address so you can send them a letter to tell them to stop harassing you (that's the only way to try to resolve the issue, because if they keep calling you after you've contacted them in writing you can report them to your state's attorney general).

Left this number to call back saying it was urgent. When I called the guy said he was calling from Bennett Worthers Collections about a payday loan back in 2012?? Told me I could pay this $997.05 bill in one of two ways. I could pay $525. then and it would be considered paid in full or I could set up payments of $100.00 a month for 7 months and it would be considered paid in full. I played along with this guy and told him he would have to send papers with all the info to me in the mail. He hung up. Definitely scam!!

got a message saying I needed to call in regard to a case number. number showed in my voicemail as 202-875-6053 but the call back number was 844-731-0546. some lady with answered and stated it was in regard to an advance loan of 750.00 from 2015. I NEVER borrowed any money in 2015, I bought a house then. Anyways, I hung up on her, she was talking wayyy to slow for me. I blocked both numbers. Hopefully they will not call again or they will get an earful

They called and I pressed 1 then they told me I took out a PayDay Loan for $1,000.00 back in I don't know when. Then I pressed him for more information and he wanted me to confirm my personal info which I would not because I told him my identity had been compromised many years ago and I was not going to give him any information. I then asked him to send me documentation or paperwork with all of the information and he said he was going to mark my file as not able to work with and when I pressed him to mail me paperwork he said he would and hung up. I still haven't received anything. Now they keep calling.

I've been getting several calls a week from this number. They say it is urgent that I call and give me a reference number or press 1 to be connected to a person. I pressed one this time because I was curious. The woman had my name and birthdate (all easily searchable information). I told her that I wouldn't confirm any information until she told me the name of the company. She said that she was marking my file in default that that I was unwilling to resolve the matter. I said I'm willing to settle whatever it is but I need to know who I'm talking to first. She promptly hung up on me... Definitely a scam, don't give them any info.

Left this number to call back saying it was urgent. When I called the guy with a very heavy African accent said he was calling from Bennett Worthers (sp) Collections about some nearly $1000 payday loan from OVER 10yrs ago....I already knew this was complete BS! I informed him I never took a payday loan and if I had to resort to a payday loan they would have definitely not given me that type of money. He didn't even try to debate just hung up. Definitely a scam!!
