This number called me on my cellphone. I did not answer it because the message said something about a debit card limit. I have not used a debit card, nor did I use my cellphone for any kind of banking.

The x's are the cell phone number the message was sent to.

I received a text notice from the 814-438-4746 number with the following msg.: “(Call 8144384747 Now ! 169#) #Card-Locked Alert Account-ID:916*” It seemed to coincide with a problem i had with a recurring charge on my account for veterinary services, but that wasn’t their number. Also, i attempted contacting my bank, but the C.S.rep.”Nathan” sounded like a radio personality or used car salesman—felt like i was getting punked—gave me differing reasons why my transaction/bank account was having problems, and seemed more concerned with me “Unlocking” my card!! I immediately called the Fraud Unit and alerted them of what happened.
