Marilyn called left message saying she could reduce interest rate on My Capital One card. Gave me the number 1-800-990-2680 to call as she needs more information about my card before she can do this. I only have three days to call her back give her all the information she is needing. It's a scam but I am going to send Capital One a letter saying about this phone call.

Ditto...total scam..They lead u to believe they are Capital One, they are not. They want you to join their Debt consolidation program ( in which they make a commission). I have called them and after wasting 30 minutes of my time...I realized it is all lies...does Capital One know they are using their name?. Also a guy called me about lowering my student loan debt, with the same spiel.( I don't have a student loan)!! I am also going to call Capital One and report them..!!

"Marilyn" from Capitol One Credit card called me and said I can reduce my rates. This seemed strange because I don't even have a Capitol One card! I think it is some kind of scam or trick to get you to call back.
