Called our business claiming to be law enforcement. Said our location was under investigation and started asking about deposits. Knew private information like the owners and managers name.

This person identified them at my business as law enforcement and then proceeded to try and get me to take my deposits somewhere.

This is a scammer. He scammed me while I was at work. He called on the landline phone (where I work you have to answer the phone) so when I answered he told me that this store is under investigation and that he is a deputy sheriff. He gave me his badge number and what station he was at. Im 17 and was very at the time naive so I believed him. He threatened me and said that I am also under investigation and that he was going to have someone come in and arrest me. He said I can’t call my parents or my manager and that I’m under surveillance so if I did that I will be arrested. So he told me to shut the store down and to tell the customers to leave. Then he told me to count the money in the register. By this time i was so scared and I was having and anxiety attack. I could not stop shaking so I was stuttering and uncooperative and that made him really mad so he started yelling at me. He told me to take the money out and walk to the nearest store to load the money into these prepaid cards.
