I didn't call them but I did get information about about advertising for Autozone and getting my car wrapped. I checked online seeing that it's fraud and a scam. The FTC says that they are aware of it. The local police said that they want do anything unless it's local. The check came by priority mail from R and R Tax & Bookkeeping Services, 2120 N ST Augustine Rd, Mesquite. TX 75149. The check is for $2950 made out to me from JO Morgan Chase Bank, from a Micheal Salamba, 609 73rd St, North Betgen, NJ 07047. The note in the mail says to text my full name and check # to 281 858-3928 to the payment Secure Department when I receive the check.

Spam Calling   2021-08-01
No call from whomever. I got a check delivered by FedEx. With it is a 1/4 of a page which says call the number in question. I got a text message, but I wouldn’t click on it, about using my car to advertise. I sent an email saying I’d be interested to make some extra money. So, now what do I do to properly report it? I guess I’ll call non emergency city police department to see how I go about reporting it to the proper authorities.

it's used as part of a fraudulent scam, with putting advertising decals on your car and getting paid weekly to do that. They send you a check (of which the account for the check has already been closed because of fraud) then you text this number to let them know "that you deposited the check in your account."
