called and said from some Global economic research team (seeking data about how Covid has affected people) - this is about the 4th call I have had from the same place (slightly differing number each time) but they are completely unprofessional - as they just hang up when questioned. Had two calls from 09 8021853 and another one from 09 8221148 in the last 8weeks

I have them and a similar number call. Same experience as others here with them having noise similar to a call center/trading room in the background. They say they are doing economic research but it is total BS. A bit unnerving as somehow they have got hold of my name??!!!

Definitely not legitimate: Have called me about 4 or 5 times, and from other numbers: e.g. 09 8021853 Say they are from a Global economic research team asking how Covid has affected people and the economy. Background noise is always the same recording of a call centre / trading room, which is how i can now identify them immediately

Uncertain about this number - Rang and said they were from something economic or finance. Showed on my screen as suspected spam and they didn't have my name quite right, so I said "no thanks". Caller protested quite upset ”i'm not trying to sell you anything" but I hung up anyway. They called back but would not leave a message.

I have been targeted by you and your staff numerous times and I do not wish to be contacted again. Kindly cease and desist or I will forward my complaint to the NZ Police as it is becoming harassment. Leave me alone. Do not reply to this message. Do not contact me again.

Called me said they were from global economic forum and wanted to do a survey. I could hear the television on in the background and was spoken to by a Filipino woman. When I politely called her out on being a scammer and asked her not to call back she became abusive and hung up.

As comments above. They have called multiple times. I decided to answer and he said same as above comments. I hung up on him while he was ranting

Could saying they were from some research company, they then transferred me to someone else so hung up. Further call a couple of days later but left phone to go to answer machine.
