Answered this number person on the other end knew my name, fast speaking not Kiwi, talking over you, lots of questions, fired some back -- tell me why do you want that data then they move onto the next question, wouldn't answer my question, avoided it, I then ask tell me who you represent got an answer "Global Economic Forum" and will email me - I await with anticipation !!

I answered this call by mistake as I was waiting for another call. They are very persistent, talking over you. They say they are from some Development Agency, I forget which name, but they claim to be involved with Covid relief. I asked how they got my number. They replied "That's a very good question.. we get it from various sources.." but wouldn't say specifically where. This guy sounded Asian, maybe Filipino or Indian, and was obviously calling from a call centre; you could hear several conversations going on in the background. Note they keep calling but using different numbers, all starting with 09588- or 092806- I just keep blocking these numbers when they call.

Get a couple calls a day, similar numbers 09 * etc. Don't answer. They are spam. Either try to baffle you or scare you into getting some info or money. Just think, if it is ever someone who actually needs you or from an actual company they will leave a voice message or text.

I had a missed call from this number, then when I try to call it back, I get a pre-recorded message saying this number is not currently allocated..... dodgy.
