Similar to the comment 15 days ago, same procedure, all the personal details, mentioning offers and all that. Had the same call several months ago on a different number.

Missed call from Limerick. I called back and automatic message said it was 3 and they would call back. They called back maybe 2 weeks later and talked for a long time on the phone before I said a word. I was suspicious she was talking for so long - very time consuming for them, I wondered if they were trying to keep me on the phone for as long as possible. They had all my details. Asked me am I happy with the service I’m receiving etc. I’m pay as you go and she told me there’s an offer to get what I’m getting already for €15 per/month instead of the €20 I currently pay. I was suspicious and busy at the time, told them I would do it online. She told me the offer wasn’t available online and so I said I had to go I’ll call back another time. She told me I can’t call back and they’ll call me. They called again a month later, I didn’t pick up. If it was to be 3, I’m not sure what they’d gain from these time consuming calls offering better deals.

The caller had foreign accent (India) and claimed they from 3. Network. Call 3 occasions … is a local number apparently from look of it. Had my full name. Marketing maybe? First impressions were that it was a repeated prank call. Did a search and found a reference here. Pay-as-you-go customer… not sure what they might be marketing about.
