They asked for the phone owner by first name then asked to call night or day. I've worked in legit survey and market research and it is ILLEGAL to not identify yourself and the purpose of the call. Look up the MRIA or market research association for Canada and it will explain the difference between legitimate legal calls you will help ppl by calling or illegal calls for scams or data mining. Never trust any caller who doesn't say 1) WHO THEY ARE 2) WHO THEY ARE CALLING FOR 3) PURPOSE OF THE CALL. BTW - never just hang up if they are explaining the call or by law they have the right to call back because you have the right to be informed of the call purpose.

A woman claiming to be from TD bank asked to set me up with a credit check program, with a 30 day free trial. She was asking stuff about my account and I gave obviously wrong answers, she didn't catch on. Then I just hung up.

This number called me pretending to be from TD bank credit card dept. They tryinging to sell me a credit check program with a free trial. Told the person to f**k off. You should too.
