This number called me today , when I answered they hung up . I called back and it was a lady claiming to be with BMO MasterCard , asked me my first and last name. Very suspicious, my reply was "if you are trying to call me and I am a customer you should know my name", she said she is not allowed to provide any info ???? I told her if my bank needs me for anything related to my MC they will call me and already have my info - definately a scam I think so I hung up. DO NOT provide any personal info to these people

A lady on the phone said it was BMO MasterCard regarding identity theft protection. She knew my name. Just wanted the my spelling of my name and my email for a free 30-day trial. Seems suspicious especially because there is no cost associated with the program supposedly and that they didn't confirm my identity before the sales pitch... I would advise anyone against giving this person your information.

Got 2 phone calls today. First call I could not answer and left no message. Second call I answered, a lady said she was from BMO bank of Montreal, asked if she was talking to (my name). She asked if I had a few minutes to talk about extra services. I said hold on, I don't know this number, let me check if it's a scam first. She hung up on me lol. Totally a scam. A bank would understand that unknown callers pretending to be your bank are a reality.

Got a phone call from this Number my phone blocked it as Fraud. Decided to Call Back and the lady said she was from BMO and needed me to tell her what my name was to continue on. I told her if it was important and needed to talk to me they would know my name already I said I didn't want to give my name and that if it was urgent that they would call back and I hung up.

This number called me this morning, asked for a member of the household who was not home. She said she was from (a name) at BMO Mastercard. She said it wasn't urgent but wanted to let the person know about a new service they are offering, and asked when the person would be home so she could call again.

Called me this morning and said ‘hello is this… (my name)? It was an automated message, they kept asking it over and over.. it was really creepy and weird that it was personalized. They now have a recording of my voice saying yes.. possible identity theft maybe?

Yes. Called me this morning. A lady answered and said she was from "Famtel on behalf Of BMO Mastercard". She asked how I was today and her answer was very generic. Then if she could ask me a few questions. It was very obvious is was a recording. Especially when I said no thank you. After googling " Famtel and BMO" and the phone number, it appears it's s a scam.
