Replied to my wanted add on gumtree. Offers what you want super cheap ans asks for $10 delivery or deposit. When you transfer he asks for $10 more and blocks you. Don’t fall for it! Have reported to the police as there’s so many comments of him doing this

Caller: Jason On Gumtree, he asked me to transfer money for petrol to cover delivery via PayID, about $15. When I replied that I would like to come to his address, pick up the items and pay on the spot, he then flipped the story saying that I still had to pay him money for petrol because he comes from another address, can’t afford to pay petrol and if I want I can pick him up on way there. The whole conversation was suspicious to me so I googled his number and bingo he's a scammer.

I advertised on gumtree wanting a free box for my tv, and what sounded like an English guy called me, but his phone apparently died I then attempted to call him back and no answer, he called me back, when I asked where he live to see how far he lived away he wouldn’t tell me over the phone he said he would message me. He said in the message to pick up from 127 Carl Street Muchea WA 6501 Australia or deliver for $15. He ask for deposit for half for fuel. I said I would work things around to do a pick up but kept pushing for delivery and when I said I didn’t feel comfortable giving people money by eft I didn’t know he then asked for $5. I declined and then he began to abuse me. He has my address so I’m on alert. Be very careful never eft money or accept deposit for transactions for second hand items.

Gumtree scammer - Jason Pham & Jenny Phone number 0426 005 415 Pham contacted my post for room for rent and jenny has contacted me via gumtree and give address 30 Fairlane Street Joyner Qld 4500 for the inspection on Monday 15.11.2021. I have double check with them if they are legit ( one on Gumtree and Another one on Phone message). I have called him several times. Once I have made deposit to his J T Pham +61 426 005 415. And later once i have confronted him and he disconnect phone . I have REPORTED HIM to ACCC , BANKWEST, POLICE and Australian Cyber Security. Lets see be ware it is only$10 bucks but he lied.

Gumtree scammer - Jason Pham - commonwealth bank PayId transfer - pay then no show on delivery . Make sure you report him to ACCC and the Comonwealth bank . Police need to be contacted by them - so make sure you report him not just write on these things

Sent me a message about my wanted ad on Gumtree for a Samsung galaxy s21 ultra and told me he had the phone available for a much cheaper price. Wanted my to transfer funds for a deposit and when I told him no he said ok come and pick it up but I’m only available at night. Beware I’m sure this scammer was going to send me somewhere and rob me!
